I was approached by @visitpalmbeach to promote the #hakunamatata evening cruise. Being as our 28th anniversary was approaching, we thought this would be a good way to start our weekend celebration.
Visit Palm Beach offers many activities, including catamaran cruises, kayaking, bicycle tours, paddle board, jet ski, and snorkeling. Their light blue kiosk is located at 100 N. Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. You can book your activity by phone 561-881-9757 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hubby @palmbeachdadyof5 and I thought the cruise would be fun, and we began to put together an ambitious community collaboration. This would include the perfect wardrobe, picnic fashion, and good food to feature.
Our community sponsors included:
We were able to board the catamaran before the general admission so we set up our picnic and opened the champagne. As the boat left dock, we dined and drank while our photographer took candid photos. After eating we enjoyed each others company while the boat traveled up the intracoastal. About the time we viewed the sunset, the Hakuna Matata was beginning its turn back to the south.
I was invited to steer the boat, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We mingled some with the other cruisers, then I joined a couple of line dances. We were pleasantly surprised that not only were we able to enjoy the beautiful sunset, there was a full moon rising in the East. We took a couple of minutes to enjoy the moon just as the boat was approaching the Flagler bridge. The view of downtown West Palm Beach and the marina was breathtaking with the setting sun. By the time we reached the dock, dusk had begun to turn to twilight.
After de-boarding the boat, hubby and I were able to reflect on the experience of our enchanted evening. This was a great way to start a weekend of celebration!
